Dr. Sydney LeFay (she/they) graduated from the consultation-liaison fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in 2019, and since then has worked in inpatient medical, emergency room, and acute care psychiatry settings in the United States and New Zealand. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. LeFay is an avid clinical educator and has made academic contributions on a range of topics including transgender health, psychosomatic medicine, and trauma-related disorders. She continues to utilize her group dynamic skills in her consultative roles and remains connected to her roots in group psychotherapy training through the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
