Biography
Paz Badía, M.D., is a medical doctor specialized in general psychiatry, having received her degree and training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She works as an Assistant Editor for the Psychopharmacology Institute, where she is passionate about helping create and provide up-to-date psychopharmacology information for busy working clinicians. Her clinical interest is adolescent outpatient psychiatry, and her primary research interest lies in understanding the complex relationship between human behavior and brain function.
She has a keen interest in education and, during her medical and psychiatry training, was actively engaged in teaching, being an assistant professor of Molecular Biology and Physiology. After finishing her residency, she taught first-year residents, passing on the essential knowledge needed for the initial years of treating patients with psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Badía is a devoted learner, constantly pursuing personal and professional development. She is completing her studies in cognitive–behavioral therapy.
