Dr. Horia Bătrânu is a psychiatrist from Romania. He studied general medicine in Brasov and Santiago de Compostela with the support of an international grant, then completed residency training in psychiatry. Drawn by the relatively uncharted domain of the human mind, he always approaches learning as a creative task.
Although Dr. Bătrânu spends most of his working time attending to clinical cases, his keen interest in neurotransmitters and psychopharmacology naturally led to his discovery of the Psychopharmacology Institute, joining the editorial team in 2022.
