Biography
Amanda Koire, M.D., Ph.D, is an Attending Psychiatrist in the Division of Women’s Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry, Brigham, and Women’s Hospital, an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, and a research scientist for the Community Based Maternal Mental Health Program at the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
She completed her MD and PhD at Baylor College of Medicine and her Adult Psychiatry residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, during which time she was an Academic Chief Resident. She co-founded the National Reproductive Psychiatry Trainee Interest Group (www.repropsychtrainees.com) in 2021. Her award-winning research focuses on maternal mental health services delivery and educational interventions for reproductive psychiatry.
