We are a multidisciplinary and global team composed of psychiatrists, writers, designers, animators, audio engineers, project managers, and developers.

Is the Psychopharmacology Institute funded by the pharmaceutical industry?

No, we are not. We don’t accept pharmaceutical funding of any kind. This allows us to make independent conclusions about psychotropic medications.

At the Psychopharmacology Institute, funding comes exclusively from subscribers. You can trust that all our educational activities are free of commercial bias.

The story behind the Psychopharmacology Institute

Dr. Flavio Guzman, a psychiatrist in Mendoza, Argentina, founded the Psychopharmacology Institute (PI) in 2012. From day one, PI was destined to be an unbiased, psychopharmacology resource to busy clinicians.

The steady growth of subscriptions provided us with the opportunity to improve quality and content.
